We planned a holiday, 1 week in Berchtesgaden (germany), 1 week in Seefeld in Tirol (Austria), an 2 days in Albstadt.

Unfortunately, 2 days before leaving Berchtesgaden I became sick, headache, fever, and spent the last day there in bed. Next day I felt better and was able to drive to Seefeld in Tirol. But now Nawang became sick and 2 days later we cancelled the holiday and drove home again. Because of heavy traffic, and lots of rain it took fore ver to drive halfway home (400km) so I did an extra night in Hockenheim before going home the next day.

In 2012 our happy family is going to visit Indonesia. Our son Lorenzo is just 2 years old when we go. It will be the first time for our family in Indonesia to see him in person. The plan is to take it easy, and mainly visit family. I’ve been there two times before, so no much sightseeing is planned. On the way home we plan to stop a few days in Singapore and explore the city together. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. About 1 week after our arrival in Yogyakarta my father, Walter de Joode, passed away at home from a brain tumor, and we had to cut our holiday short and return to the Netherlands early.

One weekend in August 2007 Me and my friend Era Litawati went to see Leuven and Brussel in the morning, and in the afternoon we drove to Bredene, where Do-We Vie (Dwike) and her partner owned a shop called Semar. In the evning we visited den Haan, we stayed in a room in the shop. Next day we walked around Bredene again and in the afternoon said goodbye and visited Brugge on our way home.

In 2007  we (Paul de Joode and Era Litawati) meet our friends (Dwi and Michael) in the Belgian Aardennes for a 2 day holiday. We meet in Camping Benelux in La Roche-en Ardenne. We visit the village and drive a bit through the countryside on saturday. On sunday we go to Hotton, explore a cave, and end our holiday in Bastogne (Bastenaken) before going home again in the evening. 

April 2007, we go cycling with friends in the area of Lisse, along the flower fields.

Before we pass Aalsmeer, and before going home we stop at the beach in Noordwijk.
